Every Apple TV HD can therefore install today's VPN apps, including IPVanish's tvOS 18 build. Until this update, this page said the opposite; we have corrected it. The change that matters now is tvOS 27, released on 14 September 2026, which runs only on the Apple TV 4K 2nd generation and later.
