Outside North America the playoffs are live on League Pass, and one extra month tips the sum: seven payments come to €111.93. In the US, where the Playoffs and Finals are never live on League Pass, that argument disappears. Other savings the NBA lists: students get 40% off League Pass or Premium monthly for 12 months through UNiDAYS, in 35 eligible countries that do not include the US or Canada. Monthly plans bought on NBA.com can be paused for 1 to 4 months. Season passes renew automatically at the full season price before the next season, with a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of that charge. Buying at another country's price is not a supported route either: the storefront prices by the location it detects, and the NBA says VPNs and proxies are not supported. ## Does League Pass work on Fire TV and smart TVs with a VPN on? The NBA app runs on Fire TV devices with Fire OS 7 or later and on Fire TV Sticks from the 3rd generation, and League Pass can be bought in the app on Fire TV in 12 countries, including the US, Canada and the UK. It also runs on Apple TV (tvOS 17 or later), Android TV, Roku (OS 12 or later, 5th generation or newer), Samsung TVs from 2018 and all Vizio TVs. US local games appear 3 days after the live broadcast ends and US national games at 6:00am ET the next day. Canadian national games appear a few hours after the broadcast. The live audio stays available during a blackout. ### Which games are never live on League Pass in the US? The Emirates NBA Cup semi-finals (8–9 December 2026) and final (11 December), All-Star Weekend, the Playoffs and the Finals. They arrive on demand at 6:00am ET the next day.
